April Lockhart

April Lockhart was born on July 4 1995 When she was in the seventh grade, she started playing guitar and piano classes, which ignited her love for music writing. April Lockhart penned her first single"Different" at twelve years old. When she was 14 April, she spent a lot of time writing and honed her musicianship skills. In the following months, she began taking writing excursions together with her dad on trips to LA in addition to NY. April began including other topics in the book, Take My Hand, for the people in her life who are struggling in the face of peer pressure, disability or even suicidal thoughts. Lockhart is a partner at famous cosmetics brand Ilia and is also an influencer in the lifestyle industry with a huge following of her own. She was born without her left hand, and it's part of her story, but it's hardly her whole story. Lockhart's Instagram profile doesn't conceal her handicap, but it doesn't concentrate solely on her disability. What's the message? That we all contain multitudes that our identities are complex and we're more than our physical selves. I do not want this to define me I don't intend to become an influencer where that's all I speak about since there are so many other aspects to my life. Lockhart states in video form from her home in Nashville. My day-today life is not dependent on it. I live my normal, everyday life and find myself solutions for problems. But, I consider that it is a crucial component of my life. Lockhart is a huge example to other women with regards to self-acceptance. However, she admits having moments of feeling uneasy about her appearance and wearing clothing with arms. She now wears whatever she'd like. And she posts her pictures to social media. She says that self-love is a journey. It's hard to say if you'll ever reach the final stage. It's a long journey. I'm not sure you'll ever arrive. It's essential to have those around you who are aware of and can relate to you. They'll be the ones to ask what you worry about?
