Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej / Now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first gymnast to earn a 10. an Olympic competition. Bela Karrolyi is an Romanian gymnastics instructor, who was later Comaneci's coach who first came across Comaneci aged six. Comaneci was the first to compete for time at the national junior championships. She finished 13th. In the following year, she became champion. She won three golds in her debut competition at a junior Olympic meet in 1972 for communist countries. Between 1973 and 1974, she was the junior all-round champion. When she competed for the first time in senior level, Lyudmila Turkishcheva of Russia won five gold medals, as well with one silver. She was the first woman to do the reverse double salo of the bar with a parallel surface when she won the American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She began her career in the entertainment industry in her teens, when she performed as a figure skating duo with her sibling Nina Wayne for the travelling show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne, born in Chicago Illinois US on 6 September 1942. Carol began her career in the entertainment business when she was in her teens. She started her career performing figure skating with Nina Wayne, her younger sister as part of traveling entertainment shows Ice Capades. They featured dramatic skating on ice shows.
